Job Description:

We seek a talented and experienced Fivetran Data Integration engineer to join our data engineering team. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for configuring, implementing, managing, and optimizing the Fivetran data ingestion jobs to ensure seamless data integration from various sources.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 2-6 years of experience as a Data Engineer (Python,SQL).
• Fivetran hands on experience/certification or relevant training.
• knowledge of any other data integration tools and technologies.
• Previous work in industries with high data security and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in configuring and managing Fivetran connectors for data integration.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL/SQLX and data manipulation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data storage technologies.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain robust data transformation pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Configure and set up Fivetran connectors to extract data from a variety of source systems, including cloud databases, applications, and APIs.
• Design and implement data integration pipelines to ensure the timely and accurate transfer of data into cloud.
• Monitor data ingestion processes and proactively address any data quality issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Continuously optimize Fivetran configurations and data ingestion processes for improved performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to Fivetran connectors and data ingestion pipelines.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree and/or equivalent professional experience
